March 27, 2020 COVID-19 Update from Governor of Massachusetts
Today, March 27, 2020, Governor Baker made the following announcements:
- Stay home and help flatten the curve.
- Beginning today, people traveling into the state of Massachusetts are asked to self-quarantine for 14 days. Governor Baker also asked that visitors, aside from essential front line workers, not visit the Commonwealth.
- Massachusetts has recently partnered with a Massachusetts company, BUOY.COM/MASS for FREE health assessments and medical guidance. It’s a free service and the governor recommends using it and/or your telehealth program, which allows you to be assesed without leaving your home.
- The Governor and the Legislature are working together to craft a bill to extend the date to file state income tax to July 15, 2020.
