What Do You Need To File for Divorce?
If you are contemplating divorce, you will need the following in order to file:
- Copy of your marriage certificate
- Separate agreement
- Joint Petition for Divorce form
- Affidavit of Irretrievable Breakdown
- Record of Absolute Divorce
- A Financial Statement from each spouse
If you have children under 18, you will be required to do the following:
- Attend a Parent Education Program
- Affidavit disclosing care of custody proceeding
- Child Support Guidelines worksheet (CJD-304)
