What Do You Need To File for Divorce?

If you are contemplating divorce, you will need the following in order to file:

  • Copy of your marriage certificate
  • Separate agreement
  • Joint Petition for Divorce form
  • Affidavit of Irretrievable Breakdown
  • Record of Absolute Divorce
  • A Financial Statement from each spouse

If you have children under 18, you will be required to do the following:

  • Attend a Parent Education Program
  • Affidavit disclosing care of custody proceeding
  • Child Support Guidelines worksheet (CJD-304)
